what's in a name??

just curious if you name your fish or not. if you do, what are some of their names??

mine are;
moe, joe, persephone, greeny, red guy, meanie, Mr., Mrs., gumby, pokey, and 'Mr. Little jeans'.
those aren't all, but those are the only one's i've named. the rest are all so inconspicuous that i can't tell them apart. but each of the ones i've names are easily recognizable for having some sort of strong characteristic, like size or color that sets them apart from their same-species tank mates.

The only fish in my house that has a name is Grumpy. He is a Mottled Sleeper Goby that has an eternal frown on his face. He just looks "grumpy".

My three Boesemani Rainbows are Larry, Moe and Curly because they are so amusing to watch. My chocolate pleco is Hershey...get it? chocolate...Hershey. LOL. Anyway, haven't named any of the other fish. I used to have a Severum named Buddy but he passed away.

My Fire Eel's name is Flame, and my Tiger Barbs are the Backstreet Boys. Other than that, no other names. Well, I could name my Red Tail Shark, The Evil One, lol.

my family think i'm nuts as it is with my fish
so if i name them i think i will be comitted.
don't tell them that i have called my Betta "blue"

i havent named my plecos lol but
my Platy's name is minnie (im sure you can guess what type of Platy she is
my Swordtail is called leo (i think he looks like one lol)
and my betta is named marvin :D

I used to name all of my fish, but started getting a bit confused. Now the only two fish with names are my gold sevs Alan and Morris.

i only named my female bettas Rocky and Skimmer.

i name alot of my fish!

Three spot gourami -raphael- i named him this because his little feelers coming off below on his belly look kinda like a moustache from certain angles
Male Betta -elvis- i got him on an anniversary of elvis's death
Ryukin Goldfish -paige- its my sisters name (cmon it was a joke, the fish is fat and if i name it paige im calling her fat ) but shes not fat dont worry
Comet Goldfish -hitler- *sold back to a lfs today* he had a little hitler mustache above his mouth and he was really mean.

ive got more fish but they dont have names that i can remember.

In reference to my first reply, I don't think that there are enough names to name every fish in all of my tanks. I would have to make up names litereally.
