My parents pay for none of this either (except for the fact that the setup was basically a Christmas gift). Partly because they don't want to, and mostly because I don't want them to.
So, if you don't have a job, and your parents don't pay for anything, how do you get your stuff? Do you do other people's homework and charge them?

I used to do that in high school to make money.

My largest is a 46 gallon planted. I am currently in the process of rebuilding it after a mass characin die off.

Everything happens for a reason, but the reason isn't always good.

125 gallon, it's our first tank. We were actually looking for something smaller around 45 gallons or so but this one with a stand was half the price of smaller tanks so we couldn't pass it up!! It sucked getting it in our apartment though with just me and my wife!!

125 gallon tank:
2 Tiger oscars, 1 Electric blue jack dempsey, 1 Jack dempsey, 2 Bala sharks, 1 Firemouth, 1 Salvini, 1 Texas cichlid, 1 Pleco; All juveniles

29 gallon (in the works):
1 Blue ram, 1 Cockatoo cichlid, 1 Powder blue dwarf gourami, 1 Bolivian Ram, 8 Neon tetras, 4 Corydoras, 2 Bamboo shrimp, some ghost shrimp

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

I've got a 55 gallon, but its been empty for a few months. After tax time I'll see about getting the filter(s) to turn it into an african cichlid tank. Right now my 48 corner is my biggest active tank.

80 gal is the largest tank I have but I am attempting to save for 125 gal which I want to set up for dwarf cichlids and lots of corys and maybe a few angelfish.

The most important medication in your fish medicine cabinet is.. Clean water.

My biggest is a 29g. I was going to set up a 75g+ this spring but that will have to wait until the fall at least. I can't wait until I'm settled in one location so I can start setting up monster tanks.
