Yep, snakes are GREAT to have around. And they will HIGHTAIL it if you come near them. Take that from a girl who's tried to catch many a snake in her day. If they're in the sun? Forget it. :D

I agree, I wish I had snakes! At least then the rats and mice would leave my garden alone!!

We had a little garden snake in our yard in Colorado. We only spotted him twice but left him alone so he could keep pests from our garden. We called him "sneaky snake". lol

We have a couple gardener snakes in my moms garden out back and for a little while years ago they found a home in our basement. One day when I was little (about 10 I'd say) my mom came up the stairs screaming and my dad went running in and there were the cutest baby snakes! I can't remember if he found the mommy snake, but my sister and I took the babies outside and would play with them.lol They'd coil around our fingers. My mom would get so disgusted and say that we were weird (she HATES snakes). When my cousin takes out his snake when we go over his parents house, my mom won't go anywhere near it, it's hilarious.

Was a super productive (and hurtful) day here today. Nice bright (hot) sun tilled up the garden for my veggies this AM; which is now double the size from last year.
Then I started driving in fence posts to pull up a fence for my babies (which in itself is a killer job cause they don't call this area "Rocky top" for no reason ya'll gotta understand lol) got about 400ft of that done.
Then planted a bunch bulbs for the summer (and I would need to underline a BUNCH here).
Then cleaned up some more trees of poison ivy wines that I hadn't taken down last year. Raked up some sticks, leaves, rocks yaddy ya.

Then my neighbor came and ask what I had been up to the past few days and I just pointed to the burn pile I had built and she goes "Holy S****ugar" its a good size semi-truck by now

Then dinner real quick cause uhm well I still had plants sitting there in a water bucket that needed to go in a tank for as soon as the tank's filled with water and now I'm taking a break sitting down here
