Interesting. I clicking my way to some earlier stuff, from the Leaving the Past Behind album. Almost Megadeth meets Zeppelin.

I used to listen to Overkill. About as close to true metal as my collection has ever reached.

Here is one from the archives for you. Way back when, my friends and I used to catch Still Rain at the local bar. They went unsigned, but the CD still has a place in my car visor.

My husband playing something he learned at his guitar lesson last week that sounds a bit like the "hey buffalo bill" song by the beetles, but it could also be something completely different. Luckily, it's a few rooms away so I'm not in too much pain : )

My obsession with Primordial (I posted a song of theirs a page ago) led me to Mael Mórdha (who did a split 7" with Primordial), an Irish Celtic folk-influenced doom metal band. They make good use of folk instruments in addition to the traditional metal instruments and they have some amazingly heavy riffs going on. Can't get enough!
