What tanks would you have?

So I was watching some youtube videos from MonsterFishKeepers, and they do some crazy huge stuff. This got me thinking, what kind of tanks would I really have if I had the money and time for them. So I pose this question to the rest of my fish-keeping friends. If you came into crazy money (top 20 richest people in the world crazy) and could devote all the time you wanted to your fish hobby, what kind of tanks would you have? Would you go crazy with massive basement tanks like the guys in the video below? Would you have the guys at Tanked build you something nuts? Or would you only add a few more modest tanks?

To get you thinking (and drooling) here is the video that inspired this thought: (has music if you are at work)

As for me, I would only add one more tank to my house. I have always admired livebearers and would love to have a tank of them. But outside I would go crazy. 30k gal koi pond with 4 foot waterfall. And up close to the house I would make a sturgeon pond probably about 20k gal. I would want it to abut the house, and I would make that wall in the basement a reinforced plexiglass wall. I would make my office in the basement and stare at sturgeon all day.

Top 20 would mean an entire lagoon full of fish, maybe two one for fresh and one for salt and a staff of marine biologist to manage the thing so I could enjoy it from my under water lair (20,000 leagues style), and maybe a tank of sharks with friggin lasers!

If your going to dream, dream big or go home

Shark bar. would be amazing!
Dome walkway underneath a huge ass saltwater reef tank, the way sea zoos and stuff do it.

And I want a 200g malawi tank, situated in the wall between my bedroom and en suite bathroom :)

I wouldn't want HUGE tanks. I mean perhaps some 500g - 1000g planted tanks or something along those lines but not anything like the videos. And since I am rich I'd have someone else maintain them. I'd do the build but I wouldn't want to be doing the water changes and crap like that.

so... this is my dream :]

im 18
so my plan is when im older and rich i am going to have a pool house type thing a small house separate from my house full of fish tanks and probabbly a big tv for my to play xbox and smoke lol

i would have one wall being a salt water tank probably around 1000 gallons
then the opposite wall with another full wat freshwater african cichlid tank same 1000g

the other walll would have a load of smaller tanks one wall would probably have 2 250 gallon tanks next to each other with my 72in tv above it one tank would be amazonian with angels the other would be a tank based around the bala shark with some loaches and larger fish

the last wall the one with the door i would have 2 100 gallon tanks next to the door
these two tanks would have smaller fish like tetras and one tank could be a grow out tank

Well, I would probably just get some "huge" tanks (by "huge," I mean 200 gallon) and have fun making them community tanks... angelfish, discus, oscars, guppies, all kinds of tetras and barbs and platys and mollies etc., (you know, the kinds y'all have? ). As much as I love my fishies, I couldn't just do fish. I would move to a custom built house on about 50 million acres and foster dogs and cats and horses, and... and... who knows what else!

I would've added "kids" to the foster list, but it seemed weird to put them in with animals...

Ooh! I'd also start my own LFS and demand that Walmart have stricter rules for their fish "keepers."

Hi dear,

I have glass tank, I think it is better for the fishes and every thing can be watched clearly.
And what kind of tank you use?

I'd want a 200Gallon in the wall fish tank with Discus, SilverTip Tetras, gourami, Tiger Barbs, a Red Tailed Black Shark, a pleco, and a few Chiclids.

I know that those are all pretty agressive fish, but hey, they could get along quite well!

I also want an indoor Koi pond!

I kinda want to get a giant tank (50-80 gallons, long) to divide up between quite a few male and female bettas!

I love fish... :/
