Are you using buckets?? Get yourself a "python hose" style water changer. I never have wet feet when using one of those.

I have the first one on the left in the first row. And worth every penny I might add.
Python Products - Products

There are other brands out there too btw.

I third the python!

Essential fishkeeping device . I'd probably never have jumped back into fishkeeping without one .

I should say tho... that while it eliminates wet feet... you MUST be very very careful not to get on the phone distracted, walking around the house while chatting, forgetting all about the running water flowing non-stop from faucet to tank.
You MUST pay attention to it or else.

wet socks!!

I've walked in to my bedroom and found the sevs laying on their sides in order to stay wet. I've also overfilled tanks so the wet socks aren't necessarily a thing of the past....

Well I know of someone who would do water changes when she popped home at lunch time to let the dogs out... YUP... went back to work while it was refilling!
