Vacation Pics

Theres quite a few...in fact theres a whole book. Hope u enjoy.
These are from on-the-road. A pyramid-it was HUGE.

Beautiful statues in the middle of intersections(sorry, they are sideways)

Awesome view over a large bridge in Guatemala.

.......its historical, worth the mention. Train from 1948.

The various streets of Michoacan,Mexico. Lots of people get confused with the green foliage. Its actually not that hot over there. Sometimes its freezing.

We do have that hot climate look tho. One pic will do tho.

The various livestock in the area.

Doggy voodoo!!lol. THey love to sleep. This was actually pretty cool.

Who can forget the cows...

....and cows...

...and MORE cows.

Two of the small festivities. The larger ones I missed cause of a broken cam..

I managed the pinata. Those kids can get wild.

Churches..not my favorite place to be but they look cool from outside. This one is from Zinaparo,Michoacan.

This is the part cut off of the next picture. This one was huge. Its in Zamora, Michoacan.

Finally the wilderness. This whole lake(called a Presa "pray"-"saw") belongs to my great-grandfather. That land you see(yes, all of it) belongds to my family.

My mum.

We climbed the whole mountain on the right of that last pic. The story goes Indians used to live there. There are strange markings-even a hole!- carved into the rock. Thats crazy!

Well, there u go. Ill see if I can get those remaining pics in tho its gonna take a whiles. :D

I'm ready for the pressure.
The drama and the pleasure!
If there is one thing I want to see here, it's HUMOR.
I believe I can fly!
I believe I can touch the sky!
I think about it every night and day!
I stand in awe of my body.

Wow, tangy, these pictures are so cool. It's great to see and get a feel for what different areas are like over there. It looks like a lot of fun and I look forward to you hosting a barbecue at your lake this summer ;).

Thanks a lot for sharing! I loved the pics with Mexican dogs - especially the GSh and the 'dalmatian' :D , but the sceneries are the best! The one with the lake and your mom, and the rocks with markings, well everything is different and breathtaking. We have similar rocks here but the markings are sort of like runes if you're lucky to find them.

I've been to Mexico once - Rosarito in Baja California and it left a very pleasing impression on me. I especially liked the colors down there in California - the turquoise sky, orange mountains, black horses, silky light beige beaches and the ever changing ocean! I will never forget that short trip!

Thanks guys. It was awesome over there.
-Lup-It took me 20 minutes :P
-Mirta-They are awesome tho the "dalmation" called Chispita can get pretty wild from time to time.
-Admin-Looking forward to it. The lake is actually man made. It took a good 40 years to make it.
For the pic with the guys on the tower I recorded a video of their decent. Its awesome. Enjoy it!!
