Interesting! I didn't know some areas don't allow it. I think San Diego does. I'd keep some too, if I wasn't in an apartment. Can't imagine they'd enjoy living on a balcony. :) Have you ever been to Pet Kingdom on Sports Arena? They have a store rooster (a Serama, I believe) that is just the coolest little guy.

Yes, I go there ALL the time. Ron (F/W manager) is awesome! I have purchased nearly all my fish from him. He'd be your go-to guy for disease and illness questions. I love their rooster, also the store's cat who hangs on the counter. :)
They have a great fish selection and I think Ron is one heck of a guy.

It is great, isn't it? I'm there at least once a week. I actually was there last night, talking at great lengths about what causes yoyo loaches to mysteriously die :/ Hahah.

(Sorry about the threadjack!!)

I am not sure about Turkey Eggs. But goose eggs and duck eggs are really rich, great for cakes and such.

Interesting! Duck-egg cake. I have to say, I don't know how I feel about goose or duck eggs. Haha. People sell ostrich eggs around here too. I guess I'm not daring enough in the egg-eating department.

Ha! Like the childrens book? I'm pretty sure they weren't referring to eating peacock eggs!!

Alternate saying: an egg is an egg, as long as it's a chicken egg ;)
