Update on my comeback from superstorm sandy

Merry Christmas to all and a happy new year ....... I'm almost done fixing up my basement from the storm .

Done -
New sheet rock is up and painted already ,rug is being put down today on half the floor ,new sofa ,new tv , partial clothing ,

Not done

Waiting for kitchen cabinets , the other half of the floor ( deciding on wooden or per-go floor?),stove, refrigerator.

Ive talk with a coworker of mine and he said he'll sell me his 100 or 120 gallon tank for 4 hundred dollars with everything included (pumps, Filter, wooden stand, fish included )..and he'll hold it for me into the whole basement is finish .

So in about another two months, i will be BACK IN ACTION!!!

Here's 3 pics of my car and the fdny rescue team from the day after of the storm hit when the water receded about five feet .The car floated half way down the block and crash into the white fence and got stuck on a fire hydrant ....

hi
so very glad to hear you're on you way back up

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
