Hi to everyone! I felt the need to stop in and to make sure everyone knows I can still be reached via pm and email. I have not been able to spend time on the forum much over the past month, and I'm not sure how often now I'll be able to hang out here like I am so fond of doing, over the next 6 months.
My family has been hit with a lot of death over just the past 6 wks, with 2 cousins and my grandmother dying within 2 wks of each other at the beginning of July. At present, grandma's sister will probably not last this weekend, and my dad was just diagnosed this past week with an extreme case of cancer. Dad has about 3 - 6 months left, at most.
Most of my siblings live a great distance from dad, so a large part of his care is now falling and going to further fall on me over the next 3 - 6 months.
For the above reasons, I am not going to be spending much time on the computer, but I will be checking email at least once each day. Please allow me 24 hrs to respond, and know that pm notices go straight to my email, so I can respond as those come in.
To the mods, please email me if you need assistance with anything.
This is going to be a very long rest of the year. Please don't avoid sending your questions my way to spare me the intrusion. I need this distraction in my life, and the questions that come in, providing they aren't a constant flow, will actually do me some good. I just won't have the ability to sit and scroll the boards to answer and help with posts.
