when you set up a new tank,hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor,that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Thanks all (yes,you did send a PM Willow ).

One of my pressies was a 3 piece aquascaping kit off E-bay which I was looking at getting,30cm long tweezers,scissors and a double ended scraper/substrate flatner thingy.They have more in stock and are only a tenner (as the cases they come in are damaged,but hey! my case went straight in the bin anyway ).

i had one of those scraper thingies,and i broke mine
so i made one out of a bamboo caine with a clothes peg fastened at one end(sticking plants into the gravel) and a scrubby sponge on the other end.

when you set up a new tank,hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor,that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
