I agree about the mob tank. It looked very junky and artificial. I don't keep saltwater right now but also thought the NY tank was very overstocked. The 2 tanks I thought turned out decent was the shark tank in the casino (might have been a little overstocked) and the stingray tank.

Anyone catch what that putty stuff was that they use to make the corals and decorative stuff from was? I wonder if you can find it at the specialty pet places. I would LOVE to make my own decorations! nothing goofy but the natural stuff like giant rock caves with "cups" for substrate to plant live plants in and large root systems and fun stuff like that, even hide the machanical stuff. Mmmm the possibilities.

@lcbrent... not sure, all I got was that it was a fish friendly "a proxy".

Cool interview...
Mr. Saltwater Tank Interviews Brett Raymer, Star of Animal Planet’s “Tanked”

Just wish "Tanked" had more than just the cichlid tank in the man cave as freshwater tanks. Brett is my fave character by far, he is funny, passionate, and cute! lol

Glad you enjoyed the link.

I had grown up with the hobby as my dad was obsessed. Heck, at 4 yrs old my first tank was a giant tank dedicated to a solo Oscar, named Oscar. lol I had been in and out of the hobby, but around a year or so ago got back into it heavy. Now I mainly just maintain my two tanks as I pretty much have them how I want, well, at least my 29g.

Glad you are in the hobby!

I've seen every episode thus far. I have to wonder what's more important to these guys, the fish keeping or the decoration? I also have to wonder about the safety and fish health maintenance quality of some of the stuff they put in these aquariums even though they allegedly "water proof" them - like for example the juke box components and 45s and steering wheel etc.

I hope they were paid a lot by that one couple who wanted the stacked isolation tanks. The woman made them change the solid backing on the tanks so she could "see all the way around" but then when they were put in the wall you couldn't see anything but the wall through the tank. I would have charged her up the @$$ for that redo - what a dummy.

The measure of a person is what they do with what they've been given.

I'm still only seeing clips from the DisChannel web site, since we don't get the show.... did NOT like the Juke Box one at all, but did like the lawyer's reception desk. Hope we get it soon tho. Certainly mind boggliing how fast they set them up and literally throw the fish in. Pour buckets full without regard. Hmmmmm. I'm having mixed feelings about them!
