Watch fireworks on TV. Yay.
I'm trying to convince my parents to get fireworks, but it's not gonna happen this year.

My wife and I are just staying home with our daughter. The kid will probably be in bed by 10, and we're gonna watch some movies and drink some wine. I'm usually a beer drinker, but I love wine too... I just can't drink it too often, because it messes with my stomach.

And I'll probably bore her to death with more aquarium talk, lol.

Last night was the first time I didn't make it to midnight. Work pretty much wiped me out this week and after dinner with the family, I turned on the electric blanket, said goodnight to the fishies, and crawled into bed by 11:30.

The champagne will be consumed by us tonight instead. Happy New Year everybody :)

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

LOL This was me too.Looked at the clock, 11:38pm, crash, I was out. But when you're almost 42 it's just another year. I like having the day off more than anything. Here's to long weekends ^glasses up^

Happy New Year

Amen to that. This is the first day off since about a week before Christmas. I'm sipping coffee with Bailey's atm and trying to get motivated to do the few things I have planned (but the Bailey's might prove to be counterproductive. And I don't care).

You are cordially invited to join me for coffee and Bailey's any time. On Christmas morning I throw in some Frangelico and top it off with whipped cream so you might want to stop by then too :)
