Still hasn't grown on me.....yet. Maybe when an actual logo is created it will all come together. Guess I'm just stuck on the old & simple, Fish Forum, which was a lot easier to remember!

I'm hoping the change does increase the traffic to this forum and attracts more aquarium enthusiasts.

I was JUST going to write that !!

But we both are fortunate to find such a nice place, its hard to find communities with such a nice friendly member base.

Well, I didn't stick around because the name was cool, It's because the people here are! As long they don't change, you can call this place whatever you want!

While it's true that our old domain name was highly relevant for a fish forum, unfortunately not many people go searching for a "fish forum". They generally search for information related to tropical fish keeping. We are hoping the new name will allow many more fish keepers to find their way to and enjoy the community.

We're glad you think it's a good idea, mrdenim, and we hope others do to and that it grows on those who don't!

Thanks, guys!

Hi Ramen,

Several members have reported that the site seems to load faster since we removed the flash animation from our header, so I'm not sure we'll be adding it back. I miss it, too, but ultimately I think we may be better off without it if that's the case.

Has anyone else noticed the site being faster since the change, or does it seem about the same?

Thanks!

The site's been much faster for me since the *waves* were removed. As much as I loved the waves and how they looked, I'm all for speed. I'm a very impatient person and my household is much calmer now that I'm not chastising the computer for going too slow!
