I previously served as an animal cruelty investigator, and have seen some messed up stuff. This is a whole different kind of messed up though. I don't know if I'm more icked by them eating from a tortured live animal (where it can watch with it's dying breaths) and offering up squeemish laughs and podding it or with what it must have been going through. I've heard all manner of theory about the pain threshold of a fish and how they don't feel this or that, but no matter how inured they are to some things, there is bound to be a nerve ending or two that are susceptible to boiling vats of grease. I also imagine there is a degree of trial and error while cooking. If it dies before the plate is delivered, they do it to another one. Wow, I could go on and on about how messed up that is. I think in some places delicacy has reached the limits of exotic and passed right into psychotic. Eating a live animal?

hmm I don't think smaking is suitable.
Eye for an eye.
whoever did that should see how it feels to be dumped into hot oil alive and taken out fast enough to leave you breathing >.>
and have the fishies nibble him.
that is wrong >.>
and made me sick.
and it takes a whole whole whole lot to disturb me.
that made me want to cry.

Just an FYI: I removed the link. Posting videos, pics, etc. of any type of animal abuse & cruelty is against the forum rules. Things of this nature can be very upsetting to many of our members here (myself included!) so this is why the link was removed. Thanks for understanding.
