i wish you a speedy recovery.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

hopefully the antibiotics kick in soon then
thank you hun for the lovely comment.
it dosen't look like that actually any more, the cichlids moved out,and
what little comunity fish i had left in my small tank, were transfered to the big tank,
it looks rather empty in there of fish,it needs some rummy noses me thinks
don't often see the pearl gourami they always hiding up in the tall vallis
considering what it used to look like,it's rather sad looking at the moment
if you ask me,i have neglected it rather, don't get me wrong i keep to my every weekend W/C
my daughter referd to it looking like a see through pond
maybe if i get 5 minutes to myself at the weekend,i'll rustle up some piccies, after i try and
weave a little magic into the old gal.

Sympathy from NJ coming your way. I used to work in Daycare. The germs are total commandos in any child environment. If you can swing it, warm cider fixes everything that ails ya. :D

10 Gallon: Male King Betta-Kilo
5 Gallon: Male Marble HM-Logan

Hot spiced apple cider is about as "comfort food" as drinks get, but I have a soft spot for Russian tea:

Cooks.com - Recipe - Russian Spice Tea

If you can get someone to make that for you, it's pretty much the pinnacle of "the whole is better than the sum of its parts." Amazing stuff.
