Serious Issue!!!

I would just like to raise the awareness of blood donation. I believe that everyone should donate blood as often as possible. Many people would not be here today if it wasn't for people who have donated blood. One of these people is pictured below. She had three blood transfusions before she was born. She also had four more transfusions by the time she was three months old. Today, after a total of seven transfusions, she is a happy, healthy child. She loves Disney Princesses and baby dolls. She enjoys playing with her kitties and watching her fishies. She would have never had a chance to exerience these things if generous people hadn't helped by donating. So donate as much as possible and help save a life. You never know whose life it may be!

I give i think it should be mandatory unless you have a medical reason why you can't.

if you dont have aids, then donate blood, im only 14 though so im still too young....

I cant, #1 I have to be put under laughing gas when getting IV's done, I pass out at regular shots... and #2, I got a tattoo in November (?) and did a dumb dumb and shared the ink. Haha I wish I could, but there are some things holding me back. I admire people that can though!

Good on ya Shavon, I donate every 3 months or so ( although missed it this time round ). It's a very rewarding and worthwhile cause. And on the plus side you get a choclate biscuit and a warm coffe to boot.

I think she is the most adorable girl ever. But of course I'm bias. She is my daughter. We have gone through hell to keep her alive and then we've gone back to keep her healthy. She is 21 months now and keeps getting sick again. She goes back to the doctor on Friday so we're keeping our fingers crossed (again).
