If he isn't real... then why does everyone give so much on Christmas time? Are we all giving so much b/c we are expected to... or b/c we like to and it is in our nature?

Why do we take the time - as precious as it is in our day - to answer posts about fish (or anything else) to perfect strangers... and in the process get to know each other... without being forced to?

We can call Santa whatever we want and he can have a million names.

Santa exists. All year 'round!

Have a good one!

Hawkian, I like your way of thinking!

If you don't stand up for something you'll fall for anything...

I agree with Hawk. And if I assume correctly what you are saying is each and everyone is a santa. If that's the case where are my flying reindeer? Cuz' I want me some of them flying reindeer.

My son is now 11 years old and every year for the last 5 years he always asked the same question, Daddy, is Santa really real? And I always answered without hesitation, Yes he is son. Well this year he didn't ask, he just said Daddy, I know that Santa isn't real. I said without hesitation, I'm sorry son but you are wrong. Santa lives in our hearts and if it wasn't for Santa, you surely would have gotten fewer gift throughout your life.We exchange gifts to celebrate the birth of Christ but then the spirit of old Saint Nick suddenly kicks in and I end up buying another present.

Ain't like going down to the pond, cetching bluegills and tommy cats!
