Well, looks like the cougar left. She hasn't seen her in 2 days. And there's some tracks going up the hilside behind their place. So I guess she's either moved on or found a place with more food, or deer, lol.

Even though it is the same planet, underwater is a whole different world.

Seriously! That's such a beautiful animal. I'm also glad to hear it went away without incident.

I used to wish I could domesticate and keep some kind of large cat like that... remember that movie with Madonna from the 80s called "Who's That Girl" where her pet cougar behaved as a dog might? I hear it rarely works out like that in reality, though... one day the instincts of the large cat you've kept since it was a cub kick in and it mistakes your arm for a deer.
