Actually it's a miniature horse, not a pony (although they look like ponies).

And the last shot is Los Arcos in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I went to Cabo twice last year. :)

So I found this thread and thought I would share some of my photography as it's my other major hobby aside from aquariums. Well hiking is also a hobby. Lucky all of them can kinda overlap. Nature scenes are my favorite to photograph and animals when I can get them to frickin' hold still. Now to the pictures!

Emerald Isle Nov 2009

The view from my boyfriend's house. They have some large windows that face west and I'm in heaven when I go out there.

Charleston, SC 2011 This thunderstorm came roaring in from the mainland. In under 20 minutes it went from beautiful blue skies to this.

Sunset over the Smokey Mountains in summer 2011

Sunset over the Baltic Sea in Sweden. Twilight hangs on there for hours after the sun goes down and give it an eerie feeling.

I've got some more but I won't cram them all into one post. Gotta spread out the luv!

Thank you, Ches! I can actually take good pictures when my bloody camera isn't pointed at a fish tank. Speaking of that, I should punish myself and try to get some more pictures of the goldfish.

Here is the next round!

This was another one from Sweden. We went out picking edible mushrooms, and I found this little beauty.

This is Gamla Stan, the oldest part of Stockholm (like 1000 years; funny how in the US old is like 70 years--Europeans laugh at that). I took this from the back of a cruise ship as it was pulling out of the harbor; that's why it looks at an odd angle. We didn't spend much time in Gamla Stan which is a shame because there were so many good photo ops.

Very proud of this carved pumpkin and the way the shot came out.

This is one of the most surreal place I've ever found. Walking up a stream doing stream surveys we just walked into this long canyon; you can't even see the end in this shot. It was the end of a long day and before we noticed it the walls were 4 feet tall and in order to continue we had to go back out and climb around. There were also names and OLD dates carved on the walls. Stuff from the 1800's.

More to come later!
