Wow, your garden is super pretty!

540L/140G - 'Tidal Jungle' (Crabs) | 254L/67g - 'Backwater Pool' (Fish/Snails) | 96L/25G - ''Twisted Minds" (Fish/Snails)

I've never had any problems with 'Impulse Buying'. They're just animals that I forgot I had planned to get.

It's my grandma's garden. It's her pride and joy, we have gardens -everywhere- You should see our backyard. I should do that, dunno if much is in bloom for photos now though. We had a bad year and ma didn't have time to tend the gardens, the roses usually look better believe it or not, and there are never weeds...which we have some of this year. >>; I would weed, but she'd hit me if I accidentally pulled a flower. lol Sometimes I can't tell...but if I see a thistle bush popping up or bind weed, I get it. I just haven't yet. xD It's hot out there, I can't sit in the sun and yank evil things when its a hundred degrees. ^^; Excuses, excuses.

Anywho, yeah. She's got a huge garden in the backyard, three of them actually. One is full of poppies. On the side of the house we have a bunch of columbine and some other things I have no idea about...Irises, lillies and such in one back garden...Small one by the driveway with more lillies and some tall purple things that I don't know what they are, but they're pretty and not iris. lol

It's been raining for three days here. Oh the flooding. Not nearly as bad in our yard as it was, but I got photos of that.

So yeah, raining = sleepiness, yawning, laying around in the warm hammock...

The ferrets are currently free, let them out as I typed, and they're both under my blanket cuddled under me. ^_^ Can't get a photo though, it'd just be a bump.

You can see where the flooding was:

Still raining, our pool, which started out under an inch full, has over-lowed, did so yesterday I think, it's still raining though not as hard as it was. I know floods suck for many...but I love this cool, wet weather. After like two or three weeks above 90, I'm truly loving it.

This backed up over our porch yesterday morning, it has since receded quite a bit as you can see.

Sometimes you just HAVE to get wet if you want out of the house. lol Boomer isn't as big on being wet like he used to be.

Did I ever show you guys that photo of the huge horse fly? I tried to put a quarter next to it but it left and didn't come back. If I knew that gets rid of them I'd offer them coins more often. lol It was bigger than a quarter.

Speaking of big bugs, a few days ago I was sitting on the front porch watching the lady bird moths, they look JUST like hummingbirds when they feed, and something hit the bush near me with a very audible crack. I thought it was a mantis...it happened to be the biggest grasshopper I'd ever seen, I didn't know they got four inches long!

How about a fiery moose in the sky? Anyone play Terra Monsters on Facebook? FLAMOOSE!
