Yeah, I posted it. :3

And for anyone who WANTS a ferret, I suggest doing so eventually in life, even if you can't right now(I've wanted one since I was like five years old, but grandma hated them and of course I hadn't the money). You can't go wrong with a cute little fuzzbutt if you take the time to teach it not to bite and socialize. I also suggest you save a lot of money before buying one since vet bills for the first visit are rather extreme and buying everything they need is too. and doing a great deal of research first, of course. >>; If you have the time and effort to put in(Really not that much effort, you just gotta let a lot of people hold them when they're young, and teach them not to bite like you would a puppy...which is the hard part, but better done when they still have baby teeth). They bond very closely with their families and even the family pets if they get along with them, and they're more entertaining than an award winning comedy! Just toss that TV out the window and buy two ferrets. :3

Sagelike wisdom from Sylver *nods* I WISH I could have one, but my husband's allergies/asthma don't seem to do well with ferrets at ALL. Which is SAD, because they're so NICE and CUTE and SILLY and I LOVE THEM MADLY!!! You did! I'm going to have to go back to the beginning of this thread and find it again. I loved that video!

That certainly is a tank...an EPIC Tank. lol That is so cool.

OH! I forgot about your husbands allergies. Darn. Well, if he finds a med that works, he may get better around them over time, or not. Who knows. I'd actually suggest borrowing someones ferrets and giving them an good, long oatmeal soak. My uncle is in fact allergic to them as well, and we discovered that if we give the ferrets a ten-twenty minute oatmeal soak two or three times per week, it doesn't bother him at all. And his are pretty bad. Same with mine, but it's more my cats that I'm allergic to...which I couldn't do much about since I absolutely refuse to be one of those cat bathing people. I just don't get it, a properly raised kitten will clean themselves and they don't have a smell at all. =o I mean unless they get into something they shouldn't get into.

Hmmmm... maybe one day. For now I doubt I'd really keep up with a 3x a week oatmeal bath - unless I could dump them in with my daughters at bath time! Ferrets are so fun and lovely, but I think - even if we COULD get past the allergies - that it's probably not a good time in our life with all the little ones. The chances of their inquisitiveness landing them in trouble in a house like mine is pretty high! I want them so badly, though. . .

I've heard from many people who got their dream ferret, that they did so after their kids left the nest. It helps fill in that void of them not being there daily and gives the parents something to do and love. lol

Speaking of little ones...I have that puppy over again, this time we're keeping her for three days while my sister goes to visit family out of state. She's gotten about a foot bigger than she was in the last photos. Well, not a foot, but close enough, she's gained ten pounds in the last month and it doesn't look it because she grew in size. lol She looks like a purebred pit bull. =o She's very sweet! And has such a cute face. But they haven't worked with her, so she's all energy and mouthing. I'ma make them go to classes, because if I train her here like I have been and they don't keep up with it, it doesn't work. lol

Anywho, expect photos soon! She's absolutely darling.

Puppy pictures as promised!

Now, you can see she's gotten rather big! lol In this first photo, she WAS looking at me, but puppies have a two second attention span, if that, and she looked down. You can see Boomer in grandma's lap, he's so tired, he doesn't like puppies...they jump on him and wear him out. My cat is also worn out, she jumped up next to me after slapping a string out of the way, and passed right out. I didn't know she snored like my last cat. >>;

And of course I had to miss the perfect shot, but it's still an ok one. lol

Mmm, bone. She's teething. Oh yes. LOL And yes, she has gold eyes.

Yess, I finally got two good shots of her. I love her wrinkles! :3

The flash and white floor made this one go out of focus a bit, sorry. >< I was trying to get a photo of her being petted by my cat Alanna, but they refused while I was there.
