ahh we posted at the sometime.
beautiful pictures, and one of my favourite things even though it scares
the pants off me the lightening love it..
in regards to the mountain lion i know we had someone on here who
posted a picture of a mountain lion on the porch of a house !
and i think jpet(member here) kept spiders !
and another who cultivates(if that's the right way of saying it )
moths and buterflies....another of my all time favourite,i've even thought
of trying it myself this year....hmm maybe a little project !

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

I dunno, Sylver. I held her EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. from the time we got her, and she was just a baby. We had her for a few years, and she NEVER tamed. *shrug* She was better when she was smaller, but as she grew, it was really just bad. Eventually we had to give up and rehome her. I always will wonder if that guy managed to calm her down. I suspect (from what other people who had their own, very nice iguanas and met her told me) that she was just an odd-ball. . . unfriendly OR had very bad experiences with humans. But it would have had to be at a VERY young age, she was only a couple of inches long when she came home with us. And we were always nice to her! Never going to get one of those again, but they're lovely creatures - when they aren't nuts!

Oh no, if you had one you held every day, held it right and stayed calm with your hands not gloves(I know it's safer with gloves, but they HATE them, freaks them out), then there was something not right about that one. Sometimes they come out just more aggressive and wild and refuse to tame up, but usually if they don't after a while, there's probably a brain malfunction going on there. lol

Well, I know, no tanks allowed...So I've got a short video I'm gonna send you, Chesh, with an orange...yes, ORANGE betta. o-o; He's mine. I'll post it up in the fish section for others. LOL But you've gotta see this.

CoOl! Sounds like a pretty fish! I'll check my PM's in a bit, when I get the girlies to bed... yeah, I never wore gloves, and I handled her properly - at least, according to the books I had/read. . . still, kind of soured me on Iguanas - aside from those that belong to others, lol!

Did either of you see my Fairy Festival pics? I think they got lost in your deluge, Sylver, lol...

I did. I just forgot to hit like. lol She really was perfect for that, huh? And you're allowed to fall in love with women who can pull that off so well! I may have developed a little crush myself. ^_^

Haha! I'm glad I at least managed to capture a hint of what she was in the pics - she was so . . . entrancing! You should have seen the little kids - they were literally just FOLLOWING her around. . . bunches of 'em! Perfect! Next time I'll bring my video cam!

Here are some quick pics of our animals minus one cat that I couldn't find to take a pic of. Peaches the cat, Rio the Dane and Katie our old dog. Oh and the Guinea pigs.

I agree, that is an awesome guinea pig cage. Awesome pets period. :3 My ferret cage has three levels, but it doesn't look as nice, the beams make it hard to place hammocks and such in place properly. They don't mind though, I think they would be bored with order. They're all for chaos.
