when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Sage Dragon - LOVING your sculptures! Do you have a shop or sell on Etsy, or is it just a hobby of yours? Really beautiful work. . . got a huge giggle over the way-too-serious face paired up with 3D glasses, and PUPPIES! :D Thanks for joining in our fun!

i am starting a shop on etsy and trying to get my stuff in some local shops too. i love sculpting in clay. and i thought i would share my try at oil pasteles. i saw that someone a while back in this thread posted a beautiful swirly pic. ok here goes. now i have newver touched pastels at all. my son got them from a friend. the first i did was the blue eyed white cat. then the others. the dragon eye is huge maybe 16 x 18. i did for my hubbys birthday the picture dosent really capture it. the cats eyes are 4 x 6 i scaned them.

I acknowledge it. lol I've been to West Virginia. Beautiful State. I was staying in Bluefield for a few weeks, lots of fog and odd weather. And I thought we had odd weather here. LOL But it really was gorgeous...what I got to see of it while I was deathly ill anyways. I went to see a boyfriend for Christmas a few years ago. He took me to a look-out at one point in the night, you could see a lot from up there. I wish I had my camera. Right up in the...What are the mountains called there? I can never seem to remember the name of the mountain range there. @_@ I believe they're called The Appalachian Mountains.

Oh yes, we're having homemade Sweedish Meatballs tonight, I'll see about a photo of THAT for you all. ^_~ I know people say this a lot but...Nobody has better cooking than my Grandma, it's to die for. =p Of course I'm sure many do, but I like the saying.

I've been through Bluefield a lot. Really pretty place. It's on the route my family takes up to Ohio to visit family. And I'm pretty sure I know the lookout you're talking about as we've stopped there a few times before. And, yes that is the Appalachian Mountain chain. I've seen the Alps; I've seen the Rockies; I've seen the Ozarks, but the Appalachians are still my favorite mountain chain.

It's not from that wayside, but this is another wayside that we pass on the way to Ohio (which is the next photo series coming up)

It's the Lover's Leap Wayside.

Well, my boyfriend used to say "We're so small we have to drive to the next town to get Taco Bell!" xD It's true, and he did take me to the next town a few times for fast food. It's very small, but it sure was lovely. I ended up with Pneumonia, strep, and ear infection, I had laryngitis for five or six days...his mother dragged me to the ER on New Year's Eve thinking I was going to die. I was sick THE day I got there, it was awful. Christmas with my boyfriend and I just HAD to get sick, I don't think I was much fun, but I tried very hard to be. ^^; I was sick for about a month after I got home as well. lol Darn! But we tried to have fun, I just didn't get to go out with my camera much, most of the time it was cold...and it's the kinda cold that hurts your skin on contact. I'd love to go back though, but me and that boyfriend broke up about six months later. v.v; My grandma told me it was because I went over there and got deathly ill and scared him. Haha. Oh well, I'll travel around some day and get good photos.
Lovely photo, Koi. =)
