Sylver, the butterfly garden shots are AMAZING! We have one, but it’s a bit of a distance away, around an hour and a half or so. I’ve always wanted to go. Maybe one day. . . you captured so many beautiful and very different species. Must have been amazing to be there :) Spiders. . . I LOVE spiders. Have done quite a few series on various spiders I find around. But not *SUCH* a big fan of actually handling them, lol! I prefer to admire their awesomeness from afar. I’m actually very obsessed with bugs, and taking pictures of them. My family. . . makes fun of me. We’ll be walking through the woods and all of the sudden I drop down on the dirt and start snapping pictures. I hear the 2 year old, a few yards up - ‘HEY! Where did Mommy go?’ and the 5-year old answers ‘Oh, you know Mom, she probably just found a bug or something...”
Ziva - fantastic shots there! Love both the wildlife and the horse pictures, and who DOESN’T love German Shepards. One of my favorite animals, ever. . . beautiful!
Nile... you... bring new meaning to the expression “like a fish needs a bicycle” LOVE that shot! The pics of you and your Mrs.’ sand drawings are hilarious, and the cartwheel shot is one of those perfect images - really well done. I’d love to see the whole series - maybe resampled to a smaller size, so we can see them side-by-side instead of scrolling down the batch. Your finger thing. . .interesting random fact, glad you’re all better now!
Sylver and Nile. . . for posting pics of random silverware and other such nonsense. . . you guys are WEIRD! But that’s what I like about you. Kudos for weirdness. One of my favorite photographic series that I ever did was, oddly enough, based on DOORKNOBS. You never do know what can make a good picture. Unfortunately. . . I’m not feeling the art behind the cutlery, though I was entertained by the series as a whole *giggle*. Hope your dinner was great, Nile - I’ve never had duck, either. It isn’t a common meat found in shops over here - for the most part we have to go out of our way for it. And yay for good movies!
Willow, I LOVE your little lizzies, they’re just stunning. And that sign is HILARIOUS!!! Beautiful sunset shots at the beach, and. . . randomness again -YUM! Looks like a whipped-cream hotdog! And FROGS! OMG! TINY FROGS!!! I have kind of an obsession with ADF, and though these aren’t THOSE . . . D’AAAAAAW!
Cole... ROFL! Okay, glad I dodged the S.List on that one, lol! But it’s true. If you’re gonna look, you have to pay no attention to my online status! If I could turn that thing off, I would. I always feel bad thinking that someone might think I’m online when I’m nowhere near my computer. Not that anyone would really care. But on the off-chance someone DID. . . that’d make me SAD!
KOIIIIIII! Even if it isn’t YOUR (beautiful) little pond, I swear - EVERY time I see you, I want to build a pond. It’s some kind of sickness, I think. The shots - ALL of your shots - are absolutely amazing, and I’m really enjoying your images. Thank you so much for sharing them with us. I really liked the not-self-portrait of you in the window of the cruise ship, too. I’ve never really had a chance to travel, and am really enjoying some of the images you’re throwing up here of some of the faraway places you’ve been :)
