Turtle in our pond (it's a natural/fishing pond, not decorative/maintained pond)

Little guy who visits us on a regular basis during the summer

Katy and Aero watching a class (from Aero's stall) at their first show - bless her heart, Katy kept a smile on her face the whole day even though they were supposed to be IN this class but werne't because Aero had just thrown such tizzy that they had to scratch

Caught this one while watching morning workouts at Churchill Downs

@Nilet: Yup, I was wondering if anyone would get the fan netting thing, and the "Energizer" Bunny joke. lol Also, I didn't edit your photo, I held a pair of tweezers infront of the monitor. xD I dunno why, no real reason, I was just being random.
I have tacos for dinner myself, but that food does look good. I've never eaten duck, but that's what my cats, dogs and ferrets food is flavored as. It really looks tasty!

Wow, Ziva. =o Making me and my photos look less awesome with your awesome photos. xD You're not really. I LOVE HORSES. :3 And yeah, all you can do when they throw a fit is smile and let them stay out of it if they don't want to go. As for your turtle and bird, looks like a Painted Turtle and a Heron. Beautiful. And that is one fine looking pooch. What kind of dog? I'd say German Shepherd...but it looks smaller. o-o I know there's a breed like German Shepherds that is smaller with a short tail, but I can't recall. Is it a Shepherd or a mix or the one I can't recall maybe? =o She's so cute! I love when they get happy-faced.
I wish I could live out in the middle of nowhere with a big lake and a lot of foresting that I'd never mess up. :3 I don't know if YOU do or not, but I'd certainly love to. Occasionally we get foxes and coyotes here, a few lovely birds you don't see often during the migratory season(always hold your head walking under thick trees or else a blue jay may try and kill you...), and at one time we had a peacock but our neighborhood fox took advantage of that one. Well, food is food to them, can't blame her, she had a family to feed. It was a real shame though, we don't get those often here.

Oh yes, Cole: I'm only scared of bees because I got stung about 80+ times by yellow jackets. ^^; I get stung by some types NOW and I swell up. I LIKE bees, they're gorgeous, useful creatures and they make tasty honey and yadda...however, it's very hard for me to keep from freaking out and believe me I try. I do like looking at them, but I can't stay still when they fly in my face. They smell your fear and stuff and come for a closer look, which just makes things worse. lol I just can't help it.

It's not you fault it's the spawn of evil the yellow jackets I hate yellow jackets and mud daubers other bees are nice the only good yellow jacket exp I had was while picking an apple they did not care for me getting one since they were eating them to but heaven forbid I try and climb the tree to get the biggest apple or pick up a piece of nest that was abandoned on the grass just to look at and with wasps you can get as close to there hive with them in it so long as you don't try to destroy it horay for the good bees shame on the bad ones for invoking fear of all bees

Well...I dunno how to cook it up, and my grandma hates the stuff. Just never thought to get any when I have the money. It's on my to-do list...just waaaay down there. xD I'd rather watch them over eating them anyways, I love ducks and we have a mated pair of mallards near here that I watch every year(most don't mate for life, but these two seem to have and I've seen dad with mom and babies before, it's rare but happens). Kinda hard to eat something you admire...but I'm sure it's delicious. Then again, I love cows, but I love steak too. >_>; It's a lose-lose world. xD

Haha! GREAT shots, everyone! Keep them coming! I'm loving this thread. I haven't had any TIME lately to post anything. . . got a lot of catching up to do. . . hrm. . .landscapes, spiders, bees, butterflies and pretty girly bugs, mushrooms, pets, horses, self-portraits, children, wildlife and/or birds, random pictures of randomness. . .sheeeeeesh! I'd better get to work!

. . .oh, just for the record, my computer almost ALWAYS has TFK open on one tab - but I'm usually not on my computer, lol, so just because it *SAYS* I'm online, doesn't really mean anything. . . just so you don't feel ignored or anything ;) I usually pop on for 5 minutes here and there throughout the day. . .
