Pet health insurance?

So now that I have a couple of chihuahuas instead of labs, I am much more concerned about them getting hurt.

The puppies are 7 months old and have been spayed and have received all their shots.

How do you all feel about pet insurance?

i think it definitely has its perks. especially if you have a breed that is susceptible to certain maladies. back problems, hip dysplasia, cancer or seizures for instance.if the premium is low it may be worth it for peace of mind alone.some benefits help to cover vaccinations as well.

The insurances I've seen offered never seem to cover any of the issues I've ever had with any of my pets, so I've always passed on them. . . just be sure to read the fine print, if what they're offering is what you think you might need, and at a low enough premium/copay/deductible (if applicable) I say go for it!
