oh no!! The Cone of Shame!

Here is my dog after I brought her home from surgery to remove some lumps yesterday. She was miserable, poor baby. You can't see how red or droopy her eyes were in these pics. She was definitely more out of it than she looks, lol.

she is already energetic, but is staying on her blankets cus she knows I'll yell at her if she tries to get off them. :P I am determined for her not to ruin her suture sites, she has messed them up before.

Awwwww.... poor puppy. Hope she's feeling better soon.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Nice looking Dobbie. I've always preferred them with uncropped ears. Actually, I can't stand cropped ears on any dog! Hope she recovers soon, she looks like a total sweetie.
(Did the lumps have to be biopsied?)

Thanks, she is actually not a full Dobie, but looks a lot like one!

No, I didn't send the lumps out for a biopsy because she had already been diagnosed with mast cell tumor (a early stage) and most didn't look suspicious. after the one on the side of her face was removed, the cut it open and it looked like it could be potentially cancerous. she made sure she cut away enough around all of them though to try to prevent any cells from the tumors being left behind.

I love the movie Up, I hate to give anything away from the movie if anyone on here hasn't seen it yet, but she reminds me of it. My BF, the other day, was saying how Emmy should visit old people at a nursing home (i laughed cus she is too silly for that i think) and in the end credits there is a doberman with 'the cone of shame' on, visiting old people at a nursing home haha :P

yes, i defintely have been. :P I sat right by her since we came home yesterday minus eating or other neccesities and have pretty much lived in this one room since yesterday lol. My mom went and cut up apple pieces and went and fed her some by hand and i went "Emmy you lucky dog! you don't even have to come over and beg for food, people bring it right to you!" and she looks at me with a pitiful pathetic face :P then later with left over pieces she tells my brother to go feed her the rest, and he goes and puts it in front of her and my mom is like "she likes it when you feed her by hand!" hahaha rofl!!!

she is getting even more spoiled than normal LOL!
