Just call me Queen Victoria, as I hand down my sentence for these people to be drawn and quartered. Guns would be too easy, let their suffering be long and painful. No mercy!

Natalie- I know it's a hard decision with a new baby on the way, you've got a lot on your plate!

You know me, I just want to be sure I can give everybody involved the necessary attention & training (both puppies, Precious, the baby and hubby).... Right now its no problem...but after March I don't know and that's what I'm afraid of....

But at the same time I live by "everything happens for a reason" and always go with the flow of things and it served me WELL to say the least.

Well, I'll come clean. I want you to keep the dog, too. But I was trying to be subtle. The idea was that you'd foster him, he'd reveal himself to be a fantastic dog, learn all of his commands, not be any trouble, etc and you wouldn't be able to give him up.

As far as what to do? You already know what I'm going to say. Keep him, I have three dogs, and it's not a problem. When Wade first brought home a dog that someone just dropped off out in the desert to starve my first thought was, "No way, not a third dog". I never wanted a third dog, now I can't imagine NOT having Skip, he is a great addition to my family.

I know that I'm not a "newbie" mom but I have alot going on in my life and would still be able to manage a third dog because I'm doing it. Obviously you like Chihuahuas since you already have one. This pup looks to be a purebred, he won't eat much and I bet Maxx is looking down and thinking to himself, "You, my friend, are one lucky dog!".
You have a while before you deliver to get the pup settled in and I bet Peanut will love having her very own squeak toy, lol. I'm thinking fate handed you a card that you've been looking for. You have a supportive husband and I think it'll all work out. JMHO.

Kym, you brought tears to my eyes because I know it is Maxx bringing that puppy to Natalie. Natalie, Maxx is giving you a sign. You still have enoug htimeto raise it and train it properly before the baby comes. I don't think it will be too much work. The three pups will be intheir own little worlds with each others company.

That being said, after you and Chris talk, if you come to an argeement that you just can't keep it, I'd foster it and put an ad out. Craigslist, newpaper, etc. However, if Chris is the one that brought this little cutie home to you, I don't think it's going to be much of a discusion Daddy wants another four-legged baby.

Well Chris is home early from school today.....And yes he's wanting to keep the baby and me to train her. He said "worst case" he'll agree we do all needed shots etc and train the gal and if its really not working once we have the baby "sell" her to a good home just for the Vet cost of shots we'd have in her.....Oh Lord where is this taking me to????

HORRAY!!! She's going to be a wonderful addition to the family. It will also be nice seeing a two-legged baby and a four-legged baby grow up together

LOL, exactly! Similar to when Wade brought Skip home and kept saying, "I only brought him home so we could get him heathy and foster him until we can find him a good home. I did not bring him home with the idea we would keep him". Ya, right. He knew very well that once here that dog was never leaving.
