Not Every Year...

Don't know why it is that the three sporting events that I follow most, are not held every year!

Number One - America's Cup races. The sheer beauty of the boats cutting through the water is an incredible sight. The tactics and teamwork make it one of the best events I can think of.

Number Two - FIFA World Cup. Know matter where it's held, and what teams make it through, you gotta love it.

Number Three - Olympics. Both the Summer and Winter games have something for every taste. For me, it's not about country, but watching athletes perform at their best.

Unfortunately, these three only happen every 3 or 4 years. My excitement builds as the dates get closer... Anybody else have the same problem?

I'm not at all into football, so the Fifa World Cup doesn't do it for me. The Olympics though... I always look forward to that and the variety of sports shown. I don't watch it for any particular country either, but rather the sport itself.

Will you be coming to the UK for 2012? I'm up in Scotland, but every time I travel down to London I can see more work has been done in preparation for it. I don't know if the American Cup races are shown here in the UK - somebody can correct me if I'm wrong
