Not enough time in the day...

I miss this place..I've been so busy at home ( and work) i haven't been checking in.. my 10 year old home computer ate itself ( I just replaced it yesterday and I'm not a computer geek to begin with) and at work I've been straight out.. my breaks have been consumed with the filling of my pie hole!.. still no excuse not to stop in once and awhile and say hello...Hope you guy's will forgive me

My pond is deviod of ice and I'm planning on some upgrades.. if it ever stops snowing! .. I'll leave them as a surprise for latter.

my comunity tank in the Living room is prospering and i need to "mow the lawn" as many of the plants are creating a jungle effect... but honestly..I kind of like it.. so do the tettras and barbs.... my angel has gotten HUGE.. she needs a new tank .. my wife doesn't understand why.. after all she still fits in there!...when I got her she was the size of a nickle... she now is the size of the top of a soda can( less her long trailing fins)......I just finished the electrical and plumbing in the foyer where i plan on putting a 75 gallon Salt water tank ( the reason i came to this site in the first place)...I've set up a DI/ Reverse osmosis system and a small slop sink that will be housed in the stand with the sump and filters... once i get the build in full swing I'll take some pictures...

time to go back to work.. duty calls!

Thanks.... I plan on documenting the whole build ( even my boo-boo's)... it's coming along nicely.. I've completed the filter which is a 26 gallon tool box lined with acrylic...the particulars are documented ( no pictures yet) in the beginners salt water section.. since that post I have added a pair of 2 little fishies phosphate reactors ..one for phosban the other for carbon...my base rock is scheduled to arrive today... I've got a lecture tommorrow to present ( I'm covering for a friend that lost his neice).. so sunday i hope to complete the plumbing and arange the rock... if I can get water in the tank and the salinity adjusted.. I'll order my live sand and live rock.. and it should arrive just in time for next week end...

I found my missing (grandpa) goldie... his time has passed and he graces a spot near my tulip bed.. but his children live on and actually took food last night( I think everyone grew a little over the winter)... I'd love to remove the cover but I know those nasty pine trees are just waitiing to drop needles when I do!
