is it normal for a goldfish too..

I got my suprised goldfish like a week or two of them died which is sad...but the other one did something unexpected...well so soon.

I was feeding him and a peice of food got stuck on my finger and I placed my finger in the water to get it off and he ate it off my finger...I was like ok that was a I took another peice in between my fingers and placed it in the water, he knows fully well my hand is there, and he came up and nom'ed away at the food from my hand, instead of eating the food around that normal?... ._.

<3 My betta fish.

It all depends on the fish. Same with bettas, some will take pellets from you right away while others take a long time to get used to your hand/finger.
