Im a Canon guy myself so I wont bash you for having a Nikkor lol :)

The only lens I bought when I got my D90 was a kit lens from a D80. It is a 18-135mm. I like it because its a great all around lens. I do plan on buying a fixed sens soon though.

The other thing I got was a SB600 flash, which works well for indoors shots.

Lol I think you're either a Cannon person or a Nikon person. There's no in between! :P

Eh? Kit lens's are only as good as the user. I got alot of compliments for that photo and it was the first day I ever used the camera.

Not true. I have a Nikon SLR and love it, but prefer Canon's for Digitals, frankly they fit in my hand better.

Nikons are very nice camera's. It all depends on what lens's you want and what not. I know more about Canon, like the Camera feel more... So I got it. My XSi is also alot lighter then the D90 which is nice when Im carrying a heavy lens around.

Yeah, my Nikon's heavy and can be annoying, but I survive.lol I usually bring my Kodak 'point and shoot' also which is very light and takes really good pictures also. I made a thread on off topic discussions showing the pictures I took today. I'm so proud of the pictures.lol (I'm such a goof)

Ford or Chevy anyone? The best camera I've ever owned was a Canon Rebel S 35mm. It took really nice pictures.
I'd like to get a Nikon D40 but where? They don't make them anymore. But thanks for the read. Food for thought.
