The only lens I bought when I got my D90 was a kit lens from a D80. It is a 18-135mm. I like it because its a great all around lens. I do plan on buying a fixed sens soon though.

The other thing I got was a SB600 flash, which works well for indoors shots.

Eh? Kit lens's are only as good as the user. I got alot of compliments for that photo and it was the first day I ever used the camera.

Not true. I have a Nikon SLR and love it, but prefer Canon's for Digitals, frankly they fit in my hand better.

Really? All the people that I know including my cousin who does photography for a living have Cannon's and they look at me like I'm crazy because I wanted a Nikon.lol

Nikons are very nice camera's. It all depends on what lens's you want and what not. I know more about Canon, like the Camera feel more... So I got it. My XSi is also alot lighter then the D90 which is nice when Im carrying a heavy lens around.

Yeah, my Nikon's heavy and can be annoying, but I survive.lol I usually bring my Kodak 'point and shoot' also which is very light and takes really good pictures also. I made a thread on off topic discussions showing the pictures I took today. I'm so proud of the pictures.lol (I'm such a goof)

Ford or Chevy anyone? The best camera I've ever owned was a Canon Rebel S 35mm. It took really nice pictures.
I'd like to get a Nikon D40 but where? They don't make them anymore. But thanks for the read. Food for thought.
