She...my tattoo artist is female. We started late, 5pm, after 2 hours we were both pretty tired after a long days work so we scheduled the rest for another day. She is a very good friend of mine so I'm really flexible.

I bruise really badly too, so was getting pretty puffy, lol

you bruise badly and you got a tat? better not get i wet or you'll get an infection plus the color might fade real bad and mess it up

Finally got the tattoo mostly finished...I started to bleed and swell a lot (never had this problem before and all my tattoos have been done by the same artist except one, but I have some health problems going on right now so we think that's attributing to the problems) so we are finishing the fine details that make it really POP in a few weeks after I heal. Thats the nice thing about having a tattoo artist that is also a friend, I can get in whenever I want to and it doesn't all have to be finished in one sitting. Makes for better detailing.

I decided to go with orange and magenta because i have so many purple and blue tattoos and orange is my favourite colour.

The crab will have more red in it, the gravel will be coloured in (probably just brown or gray) and there will be white highlights on the betta and some more white in the bubbles. I don't take white very well so it's best done in a session on its own.

Not the greatest pic but you get the gist. The big bubble covers up a really jagged set of scars but it kind of looks like it just belongs there lol

I have a bruising condition, yes. Tattooing doesn't kill me, I just can't go long sessions, that's all. It's not related to tattooing.

I have a duckie on my ankle, an anklet of vines and a garnet jewel on other ankle, kanji and blossoms up my left leg, a peacock feather on my right wrist (covers a bad scar), a phoenix and moonlight scene on my back, outlines of great danes and corgis on my chest (my dogs) and a compass star with my family's birthstone colours on my left shoulder and now the betta on my right arm.

I feel like I'm missing one... lol

I'm getting a crested gecko on my foot next, and snowflakes down my arm after that. All are coloured in. I like colour :) I love black and gray tattoos but so far I haven't found one that suits me. I'm a colourful sort.
