IT'S SO ADORABLE.

I love turtles. I owned a red-eared slider myself, once, probably 5 or so years ago. Was a really interesting and fun pet to have around. Seymour, as I named him, would bathe under his heat lamp on the top of his flat stones balancing only on his stomach with his legs stretched out, in the air. Does Squirt do the same? It was hilarious to watch. Also, the way they nip at your finger on the other side of the glass.

Thanks! Yeah, Squirt's just a baby, about 6 months old. So he has (hopefully) many, many years left ahead of him. I can't wait to watch him grow up into a big turtle.

And yeah, he loves to bask on his basking rock under his lamps. That's his favorite spot to be, LOL.

Sure DoggyHog! Here's a full shot of his tank. He's only about 1.5 inches right now, and he's currently in a 10 gallon. However, I'm about to upgrade him to a 29 gallon in a couple weeks. Around the end of the year, I plan on buying him his final large tank, which will either be a 90 gallon or a 125 gallon. Depends on if he's a boy or a girl (girl RES's get MUCH bigger than boys), which we'll be able to tell when he gets a little bigger.

I thought you liked Turdles?

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.
