fish 4 all, I'm using #12's for the Adams, and EHC...#16 for the BWO.
If I wanted to go specifically for the Gill's around here I would tie a White/Silver Bugger on a long shank #12.. though they readily take the Adams. I only have 1 Grizzly Dun Cape left so I'll have to restock soon.
I dont ussually follow fly recipes and enjoy using what I find or have around here at the time. I've used dryer lint for dubbing(perfect after a load of jeans) and have recently tied a "Beagle Hair" Streamer(family pet).
Lots of German Browns around in local waters with the occassional Brookie now and then but rarely. I live about 1 hour and 45 minutes away from the Salmon River but as of yet have not fished it.
Lupin, Hiking not too far from here will put you in places like this: |
