It is terrifying when it happens close to home. We had a stabbing last year outside my Step daughters high school that resulte din a lock down. And here I thought this was a small town.

Glad she is alright, lockdowns are scary but it helps to keep them safe when we aren't around.

I'm so glad your daughter is OK. As scary as those situations are, it's relieving to know that your city handled the situation well, and took the appropriate measures to make sure your daughter, and everyone else nearby, remained safe. I hope you and everyone else in the community will heal from this without too much heartache!

Glad to hear your daughter is safe.
Ive had so many intruders in my school, and i know how scary it is, and what you and your daughter were feeling like.
A man intruded my school, walked into the piano room were 2 people were having lessons, and shut the door behind him.
God blessed us by having a Practice lock down that drove the intruder out of the building.
Things work out in a amazing ways.

I was on lock down once..... The school i go to is probably one of the smallest in the country (in 2007 we took home 2nd place in the nation for JV boys basketball of schools with under 45 kids in highschool) we have trailers that we all did class in and we went on lock down because their was a guy walking around with a shotgun less then a mile away...... (trailer might as well be plastic against a shotgun)

Glad everything worked out
