Yeah we've been told that because they're very sensitive to everything. That's why my dad has never got them.lol

Yes it can be very expensive. My mom is constantly telling my dad no more, but of course he gets more.lol :P

How much do you think he's spent on the whole setup? I'd say it's well worth it.

Easily thousands of dollars. Each fish usually starts at $60 and he's bought some that were over $100. There have been a couple smaller ones that have been $20. Luckily the place that he buys his stuff from, they give him a little discount but it's still expensive. Rocks and enenomies(sp?) can be VERY expensive depending on how big they are. They are beautiful fish but too expensive for my taste. I'd take bettas any day! :)
