For me it was caffeine and sugar. Me and my friends had a bad habit of a can of coke every other day :\ Then I'd junk up on sugars and such... not good at all. It doesn't have to be that, but it could be. I've heard diet being the problem for many things. Also, I'd suggest upping the amount of H2O (I did this too). Our bodies cannot process wastes without a bunch of water to flush out toxins.

Hope she does without those brain crushers!

Oooo I do hate migraines. I use to get them a lot more when I was in high school and surprisingly the frequency of them has dwindled now that I'm in college, even with more stress, haha. Anyways, I've found the best way to get rid of migraines is to lay in bed, all lights off, shades drawn, with a cold cold towel (soaked in cold ice water) draped over my for head. I use to get baddddd bad migraines, and I mean head splitting ones. This almost always worked for me and still does when I suddenly develop one.

Good luck! :)

RIP Purp

Ugh, I used to get migraines ALL the time. Mine was stress related. They got so bad that nothing I took helped it. The doctors prescribed me Vicodin and that's the only thing that helped because it made me fall asleep. (No, I am not recommeding Vicodin.lol Only take it if your doctor thinks it's best because it can be addicting). I had all different tests done and everything came out normal so I met with a doctor that specializes in it and she taught me how to calm down when I get stressed. Basically just deep breathing methods and told me I should take up yoga. SO not a yoga person.lol Thankfully I'm able to calm myself down and I haven't had too many.

You know, the last thing I ever considered myself was a "yoga person" but with the right teachers and studio it's awesome. Besides, being able to do a headstand or handstand in the middle of a room really impresses people and getting all that blood to my head makes me feel really good! Yoga for stress works magic for me!

If you don't stand up for something you'll fall for anything...

Really? I'm not flexible at all.lol I have back problems too so it'd probably irritate it even more. My sister got a DVD yesterday on yoga so I might watch it.
