I first got it in my 29 gallon tank tried different setups and still go it. I chalked it up to being something in my tank as it was bought used and thought no more about it. Then I saw it in my 10 gallon tank the thread you read. I did try many of the suggestions you mentions with the exception of water movement. Now I 99.9% sure I used nothing from my 29 gallon in my 10 gallon and still managed to get it. The only thing that was the same was Dwarf puffers that were orignally in my 29 gallon. I gave up on both tanks. I recently setup my 29 gallon tank again going to make it a riparuim. Well its BACK
Now I do have totally different stuff in. I think I might have gotten it to start to die not sure. I have not add any fertz to the tank and it has a faster flowing filter and it seems to be dieing (well atleast not spreading at the moment). So I have not clue where it came from what it is or how to fight it!
The odd thing is I have NEVER seen it in my 55 gallon???????????

LoL you know I never thought about doing something like that as it just mad me soo mad! But thats not a bad idea I guess if you could manage it some how? I telling you this stuff wicked mean and spreads super fast! I will quickly take over a tank. Have seen it time after time.

Huh... well, whatever it is, I'm glad to hear that it's at least somewhat under control this time around. Hopefully you destroy it utterly!

P.S. I want dwarf puffers soooooo bad!

anything nice planned then ?

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

hope you manage something really nice for you both.
have you got nice weather over there ?
ours is very unpredictable, hoping to do a BBQ on sunday but won't hold my
breath...although could put up the gazebo that would keep the rain off at least.

LoL I guess if you like 107 temps then it is nice weather. Thats the temp today and for tomorrow by the end of next week it is suppose to be 90. Which will feel good compared to the temps we have been having. Its been the 100s for the last 3 days. Too hot to do anything really.

gosh that's hot !
it feels stuffy here tonight, and my hay fever is a pain in the rear,
mixed weather for such a small country, hardly believable some places
have flooding, and others are really dry.you'd think one cloud would cover us lol

LoL yeah that's a big difference for a little country! Our hottest months here are July and August LoL this year the heat wave started a little early. I don't mind the heat until it gets into 100s then its kinda hot to me.
