Ooooh! WEIRD and kind of creepy! Huh. . . looks like you've tried everything to get rid of it, too. That's a really odd and random reoccurring problem, dude. . . *scratches head* If you've tried different lighting, different fish, different plants, different nutrients. . .and water movement. . .Well I don't know stuff about stuff, but WTH!??
I know some spores can be pretty tenacious. Maybe - do you think? - if you actually BLEACHED a tank, and then rinsed it within inches of it's life and let it dry out again it'd be allright? I don't suppose algae actually has spores, but maybe it can somehow survive the dryness?
OR! OR! You could theme it into the tank! It's kind of neat looking. . .in a floaty spooky creepy kind of way. . . if you plan for it, maybe it could work? Or maybe there's a fish out there that just pines for the stuff, and would gobble it down like some kind of delicacy?
I'm seriously hoping I never see the stuff in my tanks! Cuz' I'd cry. . . for, like, months. For real. *very sad*
But you gotta keep trying! Your tank is so lovely. You NEED MORE!
