Thanks Chesherca! Yes everything went good with his surgery. He got out of the surgery abouts 5 and I left went home and slapped the Jeep back together (Yes finally!). Then my wife and daughter went down to the hospital with me to.see him in his room. We are actually sitting at Waffle House at the moment we were all starving! We are planning on going back down there tomorrow before I have to go to work. Thanks everyone for the Thoughts and Prays!

I'm SO glad your dad is doing okay, and that the poor Jeep is all better! Things are looking up! Now. . . to get those newbies trained, so poor YOU can get a day (or better yet, a WEEK!) off! Enjoy your Waffle House! My little one loves nothing better than breakfast for dinner ;)

Yes but before we can train those newbies they have to start! LoL I think I have heard they hired one and are going to hired the guy that job shadowed with me the other day. I had a day off today if that's what you want to call it but I will get off for 7 days in 8 days LoL am counting down.

Ahhh! At least you'll have a nice week off - and NO car repairs! You need it! I'll count down with you. It's hard enough to work the SHIFT you work. . .much less so many hours and so many days. I honestly just COULDN'T! The things we do for our family, neh!? Any plans for your vacation?

I have worked these crazy hours off and on for 10years. Every couple of years they modify it but still 2nd/3rd shift. I would say u get use to it but I don't think you really ever do more like tolerate it. LoL yes it is crazy what one will do for their family. My wife is a stay at home mom so its just me bringing in income.

Plans well LoL do stuff around the house that I haven't been able to do lately. My wife wants to go to Gatlinburg TN to watch the firework show and parade for the 4th but not sure if we will be able to if we can't get anyone to take care of the critters.

My husband does the same thing for us, though he doesn't work overnights (thank God!). He's wonderful for what he does, and so are you! It's hard now, but someday your daughter will thank you for it, and home with momma is the best place for her to be right now :)

The fireworks trip sound fun! Personally, I think that staying HOME, even if you have loads of stuff to do around the house, is always more relaxing than a vacation. . . also? CHEAPER!!! Too bad you live a million miles away. I'd take care of your critters while you were gone! Aaaaaand we could have playdates, your little one is a sweetie, and I bet she'd have fun with my two girlies. WE could talk fish while the kiddos played ;)

It's way past MY bedtime, I don't think I'm making sense anymore! G'nite!

Need more thoughts and Prays for my father. He is back in the hospital after get out today at 1. He is running a fever and he is bleeding and it won't stop. So they are going to do some blood work and a CT scan.

So dad has Staph infection but they don't know bad it is or not sure how to treat it yet? They are going to keep him in the hospital probably all weekend.
