me2! The gravity damages there gills. and the net damages their stress coat. Sometimes I wish I was brave enough to tell my lfs manager some of the stuff the manager does wrong.

Anybody else have some stories?

I was at my local petco to pick up some equipment yesterday. testing kit, frozen foods ect. I was looking around the fish because my 14 month old son LOVES the fish. Well there was a tank that was so full of ich that you could barely even see what color the fish were supposed to be! you could tell it was spreading because all of the tanks to the sides of it had it too. Luckily I also have an amazing LFS near by that answers questions I already know the answers to correctly and the ones that I don't have answers to I go home a look up before I buy or anything like that. So far they are always correct.

I've learned never to take "Those? Oh yeah, they should be fine together." at face value.

One of the stores here had severums and acaras in a marine tank! Eek! I pointed out that they are FRESH water fish and one of the guys there told me that they can live in both! Crikey.

Ah, the serenity......nothing more relaxing or beautiful to look at than fish gliding around their tank......
