We like the name Alexander but didn't want it to be shortened to Alex, which would be inevitable, so we just changed the Alex part. He was iffy about the 'e' and the 'a' being next to each other at first but he's definitely grown to it.

I'm doing my finger and toenails now so I don't have to look at my nasty chipped ones while I'm in the hospital, lol. Yay nail polish!

It is kinda frustrating, however. We've had the name Aliceander picked out for a girl since we found out I was pregnant (I was 5 weeks) and the only thing that's changed is the middle name because I wanted it to be Rosemarie and my husband thought it was too long. We've had 8.5 months to think about it lol.
One of the women on my Facebook, and at my hubby's stomping ground ( Dunkin' Donuts) is pushing the name Zuhara on us..... I don't like it. Makes me think of the desert!! She thinks it is the best name ever! And I just smile and nod or say we will consider it. It is hard for people to get the hint. But I think it will happen soon.... Or so I hope.

It is hard when family or people with "power" push things like that on you. I think the name you have picked is very nice. You have to live with the name and you are the one doing all the work. Name your baby what ever you want. Lol.

Why can't people let the parents name their baby? Good grief!

That reminds me of my son. He was in distress during labor.. And even though i'd only been in active labor for 1hr the dr said if it didnt progress to needing to push she would have to do a c section.. Well he was in my arms 11mn later lol.. No c section

I'm at the hospital pre-admitting now. Is it too late to back out of the whole birth thing??

Everything will be fine! Soon you'll be holding your baby in your arms. I wish you the best with everything.

Well apparently they have to take blood to pre-admit. I have ONE usable vein. They are about to screw my vein up that I need for my IV tomorrow and they won't do it tomorrow.
