Good luck at your appointment!
My husband is a tattoo artist, if that tells you how I feel about it. XP
My girls think mommy is GORGEOUS with blue hair, and then we discovered hair chalk (and that it actually washes out of even my daughter's fair locks!)
Just be ready for her to draw her own sleeves on with markers - or you could roll with it, like I do, and draw them on for her! ^__^
Everything you do will affect your daughter, it's up to you to make it positive, or negative - it really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.
These things you've mentioned? They're ALL superficial.
If you have tats, or piercings, dress like Martha Stewart or have more of a tattered look - these don't matter, don't define you as a person, and the associated stereotypes aren't always valid.
The lesson of beauty from within is a VERY important one for little girls to learn early.
Nurture her spirit, and teach her how to love - the rest will follow. . . <3
