Ohh I just remembered something about sanctuaries. I swam with dolphins in Mexico and I'll have to get the name but they have a huge area where all these dolphins live and it leads into the ocean. It was awesome.

The only thing with captive whales or dolphins is that while they are dangerous to work with, they provide an insight to the study of whales. most people will never see a whale in the wild. The orca whales at Sea World provide the live education for people to study about whales and hopefully in the future, help protect them.
Plus, if orcas are endangered someday, who are we going to go to for help? Sea World! They will help by breeding whales in captivity and then releasing them into the wild. That's really it.

Sorry, I don't agree. This is one of those topics that I could "go off" on but I'll refrain from doing that. No one needs to hear me rant about why I think keeping large ocean mammals in captivity is cruel and unusual punishment.
