to kill a moking bird

well books are close enough to movies in this section so...

To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Lee

Has anyone read this book and maybe sum up what its about for me. like most unfortunate ppl in Canadian school system i have to read this book. I enjoy good reading material but this is just so painfully Boring i dont know what its about and i just cant pay attention and find myself zoning out every 2 seconds.
help! thanx :D

bookrags.com was always the site I turned to, as it seemed to have the most details (in terms of passing a quiz on it). Unfortunately, nothing really makes up for reading the actual book, and that one is actually pretty decent.

That being said, I was the biggest slacker in school ever, probably only read half the assigned books. Doesn't mean it's the right way to go though!

I read a funny joke about this book today.
(This takes place in a book store)

Son: Dad? Does it really tell you?
Dad: Tell you what?
Son: Tell you how?
Dad: Tell you how to do what?
Son: You know...how to kill a mockingbird.
