I thought I would need a dictionary to know what 'emo' is. But on second thought, I don't need it.

Emo Just another stupid word someone made up for someone being different. Just like I had "prepies", "metalheads" "jocks" when I was in school. I mean seriously how many different words to we really need for the one simple word of "DIFFERENT". Everyone is different why do we need names for every category?

But are you really 'different' when you dress like all of your friends, listen to the exact same music, despise the same social norms, complain about the same pitfalls in life, et cetera, et cetera? The irony is in this teenage angst and hate is only a desire for acceptance, in most situations.

Well honestly I was never one of those people who "had to fit in" I was and am my own person never really cared if I was like everyone else. I loved and still love being different. Difference is what makes the world go around :D
