the Jin syndrome

Have you ever gone into a store intending to buy one item and one item only and came out with an armful of extra stuff?

well I payed a visit to the local RC airplane hobby shop to buy a spinner (the cone shaped thing that goes on props). My original one flew off in flight because the thing was off balance...I think its still lodged in the grass somewhere.

what I really needed.
Plastic spinner - $4

what I came out with
brushless motor- $30
new low pitch prop- $5
DC adapter- $8
neck strap- $5
mini servos x 2- $24
and...
plastic spinner $4

I came out... and just looked inside my bag...and nearly broke into tears

I would do that often. Mark my words. I plan buying only some plant fertilizers and ended up going home with several bags of full of fish and equipments.

Sad, it's the human condition.

I even end up buying stuff I KNOW I'll never use.

I went to Wamart to buy
bleach( $1.28 times two)
and catfood (about $1.00 times two)

I left with:

$50 worth of DVD's...the usual excuse, they were on sale.
and
REALLY USELESS---4 sets of satin pajamas (mind you, NOT ONE SET BUT 4).

I went in to spend about $5.00 and spent $150.
My wallet needs an alarm on it.
