I attempted rootbeer in pre bio class, its all yeast poo did you know that? Quite funny. My bio teacher said she tried beer but its too big a hassle. My suggestion...make sure its very ripe.

Well, I haven't distilled, but I do brew beer. I started with the kit beers, but don't like the aftertaste of the dry yeasts, so I switched to homemade from recipes. It's not too bad, you just have be very careful with keeping everything clean. Any active cultures from improperly cleaned bottles for instance can alter the outcome. I'm hoping my Canadian Red Chokecherries produce enough I can start making chokecherry wine. The birds never let me get to them. :P
